Store indoors only at temperatures of 60°F to 100°F (15°C to 37°C.) It is best to keep from freezing. Should adhesive freeze, allow to thaw at room temperature and stir well before using. Prolonged or
repeated freeze thaw cycles should be avoided. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Always store in an upright position.
Maximum of 1 year from date of manufacture in unopened container. Note: Covering with plastic wrap directly on top of the product prior to sealing container will help to preserve freshness.

Condition the area to be installed, adhesive, and flooring to 65°F (18°C) or above for 48 hours before, during, and for 48 hours after the installation. For more detailed information, please refer to the
floor covering manufacturer’s instructions. All substrates must be permanently dry, clean, smooth, and structurally sound. Substrates must be free of dust, sealers, waterproofing or curing compounds,
adhesive residue, adhesive removers, paint, wax, oil, alkaline salts (pH should be between 7-9), mold, mildew and any other foreign material that may impede adhesion. Fill all non-moving cracks and control joints, depressions and other irregularities with a quality patching compound such as TEC Skill Set
Ready-To-Use Patch. Note: When applying carpet or vinyl floor goods to metal substrates, the metal must be coated with a primer (recommended for use on metal) compatible with the adhesive to provide adequate bonding. CAUTION! Adhesive applied to a bare metal surface can cause rapid
oxidation or other chemical reaction.
Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate with the proper trowel according to industry standards or as recommended by the flooring manufacturer. Lack of adhesive due to improper trowel size can
contribute to bond failure / inadequate bond. It is important to apply only the amount of adhesive that can be covered within a 20-30 minute time period (open/working time), which will vary with temperature, humidity and porosity of the substrate.
Rolling Your Installation
Carpet: Immediately after the carpet is installed, roll with a carpet core or a light weight roller (25-50 lbs.)
Sheet Vinyl: All installations must be rolled. For vinyl installations, roll with a 75-100 lb. roller immediately after it has been installed. Start from the center and work outward to remove bubbles and to ensure
Restrict heavy foot traffic or rolling loads for 24 hours. To move furniture and equipment across the floor, use plywood or hardboard panels to protect the flooring for the first 48-72 hours after installation.
Wet adhesive may be removed with cold, soapy water and a white rag. For dried adhesive, it is preferred to be removed mechanically. Mineral spirits may also be used for dried adhesive residue carefully following warnings on container. It is best to apply the mineral spirits to a clean, white absorbent cloth and not directly to the flooring.
